Well, we thought we might try something a bit different. Camping in our Scamp! This picture of our truck and camper was taken in Canton Mo. The Lock & Dam in the background is #20 on the Mississippi river!

We enjoyed our overnight stay along the river in Canton, but are anxious to get back on the river in our Izona! All for now! Remember, ya just got to stop and smell the roses!

I know you all have this one, but that's the only thing moving around my neck of the woods! Went down to look at the river and watch the Eagles for a while. Kathy Flippo said she has 40 out front of Her and Pat's place! Eagles, not towboats!!

Following right behind the Prosperity was the Capt. Dick Morton, and he had both diesels really talkin'. I think my time stamp is off by an hour, but none the less they were crankin' down the river!

My Lori and I took a drive this morning and caught a few boats working in the wind and high water. Not the best day for pictures! PROSPERITY 03-22-08 Downbound just below lock & dam 18
17 - PROSPERITY 03-22-08 11:35 am Downbound passing through the Fort Madison IA. rail & car bridge. The Prosperity traveled from lock 18 north of Burlington to Fort Madison in about 4.5 hours! That is moving down the creek!
