I passed through Halltown last week. Nobody around, the gate locked and it didn't look like they had done any work on the "little guy" since last time I was there. I guess the race between Dave, Myself, and the Towboat is going to be a close one! Will it be the "June Marie", the "Family Tradition", or the "Unidentified" @ Halltown to float first???????? News at 11:00, stay tuned!

Well, Hey All.
Eric sent such nice pictures, I thought I might introduce myself as well. This was taken in Dubuque, IA. by a crew member of Newt Marine, in Ice Harbor aboard the Cleva Lee. Sometime last year, I think? I know it was COLD!
Pic 47       (Dec 29th)
Wow, what a day for a boat ride. Had to get a shot of Miss Lucky on the bow. I have been amazed by the huge number of Eagles this year. Too many to count again today.
Caught the Cooperative Ambassador passing through town downbound. The local boys told me the only boat left to go downbound will be the Baxter Southern. I hear it's up in Miss Kathy's part of the river? He better get the fire lit cause lock 19 is closing the 2nd of next month. Hey, it's super time. Boat pictures later!
