The name Izona by Tim Powell

Hi all. As we get closer, many of you have asked, were did you come up with the name, "Izona?" We made it up! I know I am in big trouble with a few of you! (Mr. Pres.) But it's all in fun! Izona is a fun word that can be used two ways. #1 It can mean, to own something #2 It can describe what you are doing. You have to talk very slowly, like a tired old trucker, on the CB radio, who has not been to sleep for a week. Oh, Jeff Foxworthy would be proud of me! Say the name slow. Let me use it in a sentence for you! Have fun! Izona big red boat. (I am on a big red boat) Izona big red boat. (I own a big red boat) Izona trip with my Wife and my Dog! Boat names are to be fun, and I hope this will let me follow in a grand tradition. Silver Lady - Sand Hog - Miss Molly - Silver Lady II - Minnow II "IZONA" Well now you know. Don't hate me cause I'm a Redneck! Tim, Lori & Miss Lucky!

Izona @ Ft. Madison, IA Fuel Dock -2

Trip to Ft. Madison, IA by Tim Powell

Well, Hi Folks! Here is the trip we took to Ft. Madison, IA. 12/05/2004. As you can see, we are at the fuel dock in the marina. Nice docks, with fuel pumps, and a Bar & Grill top side. Very nice boat ramps too. From Burlington, IA. to Ft. Madison is approx. 19.2. miles. Burl. RR bridge is @ river mile 403.1. Ft. Mad. RR bridge @ river mile 383.9. The weather was cloudy with rain on the way, and the temperature was in the mid 40's. Light wind from the Southwest. We now have one of the heaters installed, so the temp. inside was tropical warm and dry! We also have the marine radio installed and the towboat Captains all ask the same questions: What is it? Where did you get it? And who do you tow for? Fun, Fun Fun! Better sign off for now, talk to you all later. As always, Tim (First Mate) Lori (Captain) Miss Lucky (Princess Puppy)
