The ICWW makes it possible to tour the coastlines in other than a Bluewater boat.

The importance of the Tennessee-Tombigbee Waterway cannot be overstated, for both commercial as well as pleasure boat users.

A little known Inland Waterway in Northern Michigan connects Pickerel Lake to Lake Huron via the Alanson Locks. It is 45 miles long and homes on Crooked Lake and Pickerel lake, as well as two marinas benefit from its use. 10,500 boats used it in 2006. Click here for more photos.
